Making the team is not the finish. It is the start of a demanding, positive development process built for athletes ready to listen, work and compete.

Ask a tryout question ↗01Who should try out
Team Infinity serves competitive middle-school athletes in grades 6–8 who want coaching, accountability and a team environment. Current ability matters; so do learning speed, response and habits.
Can the athlete handle, pass, finish, shoot and move with a foundation we can build on?
Does the athlete see the floor, make reads and learn from feedback?
What happens after fatigue, contact, a mistake or a difficult possession?
Can the athlete listen, apply instruction and accept accountability?
Does the athlete communicate, defend, share the ball and improve the group?
02The process
Guardian completes the official form, consent and required athlete information.
Review the standard, arrive early, bring required equipment and be ready to learn.
Coaches observe skill, decisions, competitive response, coachability and team impact.
Roster decisions consider readiness, role balance, long-term development and team needs.
Selected families review costs, calendar, conduct, communication and commitment before accepting.
03Bring this mindset
Make eye contact, understand the instruction and show that you can apply it on the next rep.
Run, defend, rebound, communicate and stay aggressive when the drill or matchup gets difficult.
A mistake is information. Reset your body language, learn quickly and return to the possession.
