Prepare
Plan the purpose, teaching points, competitive constraints and time for every practice segment.
Teach
Explain the why, demonstrate the detail and connect skill work to the decisions athletes face in games.
Correct
Address behavior and execution directly, consistently and without humiliating the athlete.
Evaluate
Make honest decisions based on readiness, role balance, team needs and long-term development.
Communicate
Set expectations early, update families clearly and keep basketball conversations productive.
Model
Show the composure, accountability, respect and response expected from every athlete.
